Program Overview
The 3D Computer Graphics program is designed for artists not familiar with current CG techniques employed in the visual effects and game industries. Or industry professionals and/or graduates of Digital Multimedia Technology or equivalent programs who wish to upgrade their skills.
The program complements the two-year Digital Multimedia Technology diploma program, and focuses on new skill requirements in areas such as advanced 3D graphics focusing on modeling lighting, rendering, compositing, animation and production management.
This is a laptop delivery program. Each student will be provided with a mobile workstation and all the software needed to complete the program.
Graduates of the 3D Computer Graphics program may find employment in visual effects, motion graphics, video game development, 3D simulation and prototyping, medical imaging, and 3D simulation industries. Some graduates may choose self employment as freelance artists.
